Franklin Graham Says He Would Not Vote for a Muslim President

Carrie Dedrick

Evangelist Franklin Graham said in a recent interview that he would not vote for a Muslim president. Christian Today reports Graham was being interviewed on The Alan Colmes Show when he said he supported Ben Carson’s belief that a Muslim should not be in the Oval Office.

Previously Ben Carson, who is following behind Republican frontrunner Donald Trump in the polls, said that he would not support a Muslim president.

"I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation," Carson said on Meet the Press. "I absolutely would not agree with that.”

Graham has now said that he agrees with Carson.

"I understand what Ben Carson was saying. Because the teaching of Islam goes against our Constitution,” Graham said.

The president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse continued that he would not vote for an atheist president either. However, Graham would support a Jewish president.
