What Do You See through the Eyes of Your Heart?

Dr. David B. Hawkins

Scripture tells us that we have "eyes in our hearts." This is a strange notion indeed. In fact, the Apostle Paul prays that “the eyes of your hearts may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.” (Ephesians 1: 18) Can it be that that we can pray to see more with those eyes in our heart? Perhaps like me you know times when you "see" things with your heart. You cannot know what you know through thinking, but rather know it through the use of your heart. This is a powerful way of seeing and knowing. As you draw close to the Lord you will learn to trust this way of seeing and knowing. Consider today what you are seeing with the eyes of your heart.
