The Lord's Coming Draws Closer
First of all, you must understand that in the last days mockers and scoffers will come following their own evil desires and they will say, "Where is this coming He promised, for ever since our fathers died everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation."  - 2 Peter 3:3
Too often in life we play around with sin.  Even though we know the difference between right and wrong, we choose what is wrong.  We know what the Bible says, but somehow we think that we are above what God's Word says.
Many people today know the truths of Bible prophecy.  They know God has foretold many of the events happening around us right now - but they continue to live as they please, just as if nothing the Bible predicts is true.  Despite what they believe, the Lord's coming draws closer every day.  The Bible says, "The night is far spent, the day is at hand.  Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light" (Romans 13:12).  In other words, it is time for us to wake up and live for Jesus Christ.
One thing that always amazes me when I get up early in the morning is how dark it is outside.  Sometimes I'll say to myself, It can't be 5:30 in the morning!  It's so dark it has to be 1:30.  But sure enough, the sun slowly begins to rise.  The next thing you know, the sun is out and it's no longer dark outside.
This is the state our world is in right now.  It's dark outside; and it has been dark for a long time.  We think it will always be this way, but it won't be.  The sun is beginning to rise.  Christ is going to come back again - so be ready for His return.
