"What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they restore it for themselves? Will they sacrifice? Will they finish up in a day? Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, and burned ones at that?"

--Nehemiah 4:2

Everyone in the Bible who attempted and achieved spiritual success in the Kingdom of God was ridiculed and mocked for their efforts. Remember when Goliath laughed at the little shepherd boy named David?

Nehemiah and the Jews were scorned and made fun of when they began rebuilding the walls and defenses of Jerusalem. They were called feeble and weak, but they continued on, knowing that the Lord was greater than any opposition or ridicule they endured.

In the same way, you will be mocked and maligned when you take a stand for Christ in this world. Whether you are an adult or student, not joining in with the world will make you a target for criticism.

Regardless, I challenge you to make the decision today to stand strong! God will give you the strength you need to endure.

The Lord is greater than any opposition or ridicule you will ever endure.
