Day 312
RANSOM

"Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
Matthew 20:28

FROM THE FATHER'S HEART

My child, all the wealth in the world could not supply hope and eternal life for you. No bank could afford the loan it would take to pay for your sins. When My enemy threatened your life and your destiny, I intervened. I became the ransom, the ultimate payment, so you could live free for-ever. I put all your enemies out of business forever. So re-member, if they come around again, bluffing, just send them to Me. I'll take care of them.

A GRATEFUL RESPONSE

When I was kidnapped by sin, with no possibility of freedom, You laid down Your life for me.  You were the ransom, the price paid to set me free. You took my death and my pain. You exchanged Your life for mine. I am no longer a prisoner, Lord—all because of You.

SIMPLE TRUTH

In God's family, He allows no kidnapping.
