I think this article should be titled "Steps to Becoming a Worthy Believer." All of the things the author mentioned are excellent goals for all believers to be seeking, not just the unmarried.
I do feel the article implies you should be trying to make yourself "good enough" or worthy enough to get married. Since when is marriage only for the worthy or those who have achieved the "blessing" of God?
