This is so very true. It ties in compltely with a wonderful sermon our pastor gave this week, the tenor of which was: People want Jesus to be their Savior but they are not prepared to take the next step - to make Him their LORD.
We need to turn the management of our lives over to Him, and not cling on to all those things that are part of our own ego trip. He asks us to crucify the self - and that IS the hard part.
