Learn the Fundamental Social Skill

I applaud the authors. There are SO FEW people who "get" the importance of the self-giving love of LISTENING. Really listening to others and getting them to talk about themselves, and considering yourself less "important" in the exchange so that THEY can shine, is one of the most underrated (though sacrificial) acts of love because it seems so simple. Try it though. Listening and asking the right questions along the way isn't as easy as it seems. It's work!!! Outside of the miracles Jesus performed, people loved Him because He LISTENED to them.
