HH not only stands for Hendrix (Hank) Hanegraaff- it also stands for Hellbound Hypocrite- he got on board at CRI by showing Dr. Martin his plagiarism of D. James Kennedy's "Evangelism Explosion" (not that Martin knew this- of course)that HH entitled "Personal Witness Training".

Worse still, after Dr. Martin died unexpectedly, HH tricked Martin's grieving widow into introducing HH as Martin's handpicked successor- although there is no record of this assertion. By deceit HH managed to beat out scholars with Master's degrees- and Doctorates while he lacks even a bachelor's degree.

On his radio program he spring loads into pat answers without really trying to understand the callers- with his annoying acronyms and petty memory devices. It has been verified that he often abuses the employees at CRI- stealing credit for their work- using loud and profane language- berating anyone that attempts to set him straight about the theory and practice of the Christian faith.

As Christians are we not all led by the Holy Spirit through the baptism of the Spirit? Also are we not all priests and Kis in the Kingdom of God? What make these ,My I say wolfs in Sheep's clothing, better or have a closer relationship with God than other Christians in the body of Christ?

I love this article. Hank has made his point once again. Anything that someone is teaching as the Word of God should be tested by the Scripture. If not you leave yourself open false doctrine and a lot of confusion. Thanks again Hank for the excellent work that you do.

I completely agree with you, Mr. Hanegraaff, but is the questioning of leaders limited to prophecies and theology, or should other matters be questionable? And is the one questioned responsible for providing an answer?

The reason I ask:

Over the years a number of interested parties have tried different approaches to try and hold the Christian Research Institute - and in particular its current president, Hank Hanegraaff - accountable.

These approaches have included the formation of the Group for CRI Accountability, some legal wranglings, and private peacemaking attempts by individuals. They have ranged from the mature, Biblical approach taken by Walter Martin's family, to the publication of error-filled hit-pieces by anonymous critics.

Sadly, thus far all attempts to arrive at a private solution appear to have failed. This is one reason why many of the issues have become public knowledge.
