This article is on point from the title to the content. I can truly relate and identify with the words "being content but not satisfied", especially with circumstances that occurred in my life recently. Mr. Davis has competently expressed what many singles experience on a daily basis, while simultaneously lifting us up with his words.

An excellent article.

This article was a blessing! I am learning to live alone for the first time in my life. God has blessed me in so many ways, but I felt guilty because I am not satisfied.

Mr. Hudson certainly gave me something to think about. I have been lonely but never alone for quite some time. In essence I have a 16 y.o. and other people in my life bu not the "one" who I hope to spend the rest of my days with. I am 51 y.o. having been married twice but was always alone even then. Perhaps I may not ever have that "one" or perhaps it is not the right time. God knows if and when it will occur. I am to be conent in my blessings of which there are many! Thank you for this fulfilling perspective.

This is one of the most balanced articles I have read on singleness in a while. Thanks. My husband and I are over the singles group at church and we may share this article this along to them at our next meeting. It is truthful and transparent, but hopeful and encouraging. Single people need to know that although they are complete in Christ and can be content, that there is nothing wrong with longing for marriage and family.
