No offense to the author. He hasn't done his homework. Perhaps "Occupation" is a better title and would fit his article more sufficiently. He represents many in his distortion of the idea of calling or vocation (read 'the call" by Os G) a better read though would be "the other 6 days' by R. Paul Stevens. Who does an excellent job walking through the Biblical and reformational history of the word and idea of vocation. It is a painful reminder that we have a long way to go to restore this excellent teaching by Paul in Ephesians. May we live the Calling we have received! To His Glory!
