Thank you for sharing this. I had a very bitter, angry mom who died four years ago. I was adopted & she had a miracle child, my sister, 5 years after they adopted me. We were treated totally different - there was abuse. The last year of her life as she battled pancreatic cancer she at least read the cards & letters from me - not returning them as in the past. But, after she died - there was one more stab - she had requested my name not be in the obituary.

About 6 months later our 16 year old son died in a self-inflicted accident (MatthewsStory.Com).

I've had dreams of my mom since her death - even sitting at a table, sharing heart to heart & things being resolved. I've never had a dream of my son - there was nothing to reconcile. So, in a sense, I've had healing. I know when I see her again, she won't be angry. There is no bitter words to say. There is no conditional love.

Thank you for sharing your story.

Dear Dave,
Thank you for your humble report on your Mom's final year. It was uplifting to me as my Mom had a forgiveness problem as well but God showed through bitterness and removed it and filled that hole with His sweetness. May your Mom's prayers for your wife be fulfilled as well.
