Might as well change it to "O God, help me now!" ...

...because I've been asking Him to take me home, finish me off, etc., for over 30 years, and I'm still here.

I'm sure He's been with me the whole time, too, because when I don't feel this way, I often find out how much worse it could have been.

It just so happens I have had similar thoughts lately. Not that I would consider doing anything about them they are just there. I think of the huge task God has put before me and feel so inadequate and useless for the job it overwhelms me at times. I have to constantly remind myself that God is the one who will give me the ability to complete the work He has for me. It is in our weaknesses that He really shines through but they are both there together it seems. Which to believe. I chose to believe God and go ahead.
This article ministered to me right where I am at and encouraged me again. Thank you.
