I enjoyed this article and how practical the responses were to many doubts I've questioned myself over the years. Not having had a background of growing up in a church, nor being apart of any church fellowship at this time makes you question your faith at times. At least that's been my experience and I feel I receive conflicting messages wheter being a member in a church validates your faith and obedience to God more. On the contrary, I don't truly prescribe to that antidote and believe my faith to be as real as any religious person. Through my own life experiences my testimonies are an example of a power greater than myself restoring me to sanity and many other areas of my life and the power is God and always has been. Since I was a child, I can recall praying to God to intercede within my family and all of it's dysfunctional behaviors, the drinking and violence was devastating as a kid and being exposed to such things can be damaging to a child development and growth.
