Dear Reader:

It's true Hagar was pregnant in Genesis 16. However, she is also sent into the desert later in Genesis when Ishmael is older - the article is based on this story. See Genesis 21:14-21. The citation in the article has been switched to reflect the later story.

I read through this article and was disppointed to find that it misquoted Scripture to make a good story and to make a point. I am also disappointed that Crosswalk.com would post an article that does misquote Scripture. There is not enough room to list the reference, but Hagar is pregnant here. Here child has yet to be born, so it is impossible for the child to be crying for water and for her to react toward the child as the article states.

Please review articles you post for accuracy. A difference in interpretation is one thing, but a misquotation of Scripture is unacceptable and goes against Biblical teaching itself.

I could go on, but simply put: PLEASE review your article or you WILL lose crdibility and you will lose people like me who use your site and have it as my homepage.
