Becoming a Godly Wife: Invite Chivalry into Your Marriage

I have been married for 7 yrs. now. We have been seperated for 2 & 1/2 yrs. My husband was a controlling man and expected his rules to go in our home, which didn't set well with me. He could not understand that I was a grown woman and had a mind of my own. I believe that women's lib got carried away! A lot of women take the smallest act of politeness from men as demeaning to them thus lashing out and making fools of themselves. If a woman is on the side of the road with a flat tire most men will pass us on by because they just figure that we can do it all ourselves. I have trouble changing a flat and would appreciate help. I see where the men get their attitude towards women because of women's lib. It has been carried to far! I love to be treated as a lady, a woman, and in most cases pampered. If I need help then I ask for it and it does not make me feel threatened as a female to do that! I wish we could go back to days when women acted like women, like God itended it to be.
