Excellent article!
I often wish that either I could have been part of the 1st century church, or that we today would re-ignite the fire they had.
Sometimes I think I'm just going through the motions; thank God that every so often something out of the ordinary occurs that shows me that mostly, I'm just being too hard on myself.

The way I worship God is thru dancing and singing. Mostly dancing.
I feel that worship is a verb. So many churches are still in worship and it is dull.
As you stated about sports, fans are in worship. they jump shout dance etc. They are not still.
Basically I am asking what do you think is the best way to get close to God? What is the best way to get in the worship mode?
