Chris Pratt Quotes Scripture after Visiting Sick Children

Chris Pratt, the actor best recognized for his roles in Jurassic World and recently The Magnificent Seven, is quickly becoming an inspiring role-model for modern Christians. After his son was born prematurely, Pratt and his family found themselves spending large amounts of time in the neo-natal care units. These experiences led the Christian actor to make surprise visits to hospitals, hang out with young cancer patients, and encourage families with sick children. In an interview with People Magazine, Pratt reflected on how his own hardships ultimately brought him closer to God,

“We were scared for a long time. We prayed a lot. It restored my faith in God, not that it needed to be restored, but it really redefined it.”

Along with sharing his journey on Instagram, Pratt encouraged his followers to remember the words of scripture and not withhold love from the least of these.

“My heart is full,” he writes, “Proverbs 3:27 Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.”
