A few days ago I announced the formation of Keep Believing Ministries (KBM). Over the weekend we obtained a mailing address and opened a bank account.

The new address is:

Keep Believing Ministries
P.O. Box 257
Elmhurst, IL 60126

The effect of this is that KBM is now immediately in a position to receive tax deductible donations (“501 (c) (3) status pending”). Checks should be made payable to “Keep Believing Ministries” and mailed to the PO Box in Elmhurst.

At the first board meeting last Tuesday night, I shared the following thoughts regarding our vision. In the days to come, all of this will be considerably sharpened, but this is where we are beginning:

Keep Believing Ministries exists to . . .

Evangelize the nations
Encourage Christians everywhere
Equip Christians to serve the Lord effectively

We believe the 21st century offers unique opportunities and unparalleled challenges for the church of Jesus Christ. We are not attempting to build a large organization that will compete with other ministries. We would rather focus on meeting needs in a few key areas at a time.

We are particularly interested in . . .

Promoting the passionate communication of God’s Word.
Equipping the up-and-coming generation of young Christian leaders around the world.
Engaging the culture from a biblical worldview.
Networking believers across denominational lines.
Encouraging pastors and local church leaders.
Building a supply depot to provide free and low-cost Christian literature.
Utilizing media and all forms of technology to advance the gospel.

Our key values include . . .

1) Living intentionally

2) Ministering as a team

3) Encouraging believers everywhere we go

4) Moving forward by prayer

5) Doing all things with financial integrity

6) Cooperation, not competition

7) Helping, not always leading

8) Empowering others to serve the Lord

Before long we will announce our first project, which involves China.
