Backbone needed in our Backpedaling World

The currennt politcal landscape is littered with backpedaling politicans who are succumbing to backbreaking attacks from the Left.  In this environment it is good to find the occasional conservative who has the backbone to speak the truth instead of running for the high grass at the first sign of attack.  Two leaders deserve special recognition for being particularly strong in the backbone department.
