NEW! Culture and news content from ChristianHeadlines.com is moving to a new home at Crosswalk - check it out!

Pick me to read! Pick me!

Cool! You did it. You picked me!

I won’t let you down, man. I take doing this blob very seriously.

Blob. Sorry. I mean glob.

Wait. Glog?

Clog?

Blog! I take doing this blog very seriously.

Okay, so the first thing to do is to make sure that I never, ever write here again until I’ve had my morning coffee.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by.

Okay, so the main thing to know about me is that I am (and duhr, I know, given this particular meeting place) a Christian.

I am a Christian.

Man. You know, that still sounds a little weird to me. Bound to forever, I suppose.

I guess there are two kinds of Christians: those essentially born and raised in the faith, and those born and raised outside of the faith who, at some point in their lives, got swept down upon and clobbered by God with the arrestingly benevolent bat of his nearly inconceivable grace.

I belong to the latter group.

Boy. Talk about getting … completely and divinely mugged.  One second I’m a Happy Heathen; the next I’m … well, among other things, wondering how it is that I’m going to adjust to suddenly having to be somewhere every Sunday morning.

And now here I am, where so many Actual and Important Christians do their thing.

Life. It’s so ...  different from whatever you actually plan.

As, God knows, I, for one, have learned.

TOMORROW: I, born again in (of all places) a supply closet at my job.
