An active shooter situation is unfolding at a Florida high school. Law enforcement and a SWAT team rushed to Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida after the situation was reported.

Students are currently being evacuated and it is thought that at least 20 people have been injured. The shooter is still at large.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott tweeted, “I’ve spoken with @browardsheriff Scott Israel, @browardschools Superintendent Robert Runcie and FDLE Commissioner Rick Swearingen regarding Stoneman Douglas High School. We’ll continue to receive updates from law enforcement.”

CNN.com reports that the shooting took place as school was letting out at 2:40 p.m. local time.

There are about 2,000 students enrolled at Stoneman Douglas High School, and while videos show streams of students being evacuated, it is unclear whether the entire building is being evacuated or if law enforcement officials are narrowing in on the area where the shooter might be.

President Trump has reportedly been briefed on the shooting.

The Broward County Sheriff's Department has instructed people to follow them on Twitter for updates on the situation.
