Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will not be charged for any wrongdoing after using private email servers to send confidential emails to the Department of Justice. The Huffington Post reports that FBI Director James Comey recommended that no charges were appropriate for Clinton.

However, evidence does suggest that Clinton disclosed classified material.

Comey said, “There is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.”

After reviewing 30,000 emails, the FBI found that 110 contained various levels of classified information.

It was first believed that Clinton used one private email server to send the emails, but Comey said the situation grew more complex when the FBI realized multiple servers were used.

“Secretary Clinton used several different servers and administrators of those servers during her four years at the State Department, and used numerous mobile devices to view and send email on that personal domain,” Comey said.

Clinton’s press secretary Brian Fellon responded, “We are pleased that the career officials handling this case have determined that no further action by the Department is appropriate. As the Secretary has long said, it was a mistake to use her personal email and she would not do it again. We are glad that this matter is now resolved.”
