Liberia released the country’s last Ebola patient this week.

The Ebola patient was Beatrice Yardolo, a 58-year-old teacher.

"I am one of the happiest human beings today on earth because it was not easy going through this situation and coming out alive," Yardolo told the Associated Press after her release from a treatment center.

Yardolo was admitted to the treatment center in the Paynesville district on Feb. 18. She teaches at a church-run school in the St. Paul’s Bridge community, which was a “hotspot” for Ebola cases, said Tolbert Nyenswah, assistant health minister and head of the country’s Ebola response.

There are no other confirmed cases of Ebola in the country.

Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea were hardest hit in the Ebola outbreak. More than 9,800 have died from the disease.

The World Health Organization reported 132 new Ebola cases for last week in Sierra Leone and Guinea. The WHO said the spread of the virus is still “widespread” in those countries.

Also later this week, the U.N. health agency will start large-scale testing of an experimental Ebola vaccine in Guinea. Those who have been exposed to the virus or are at risk of the virus will be vaccinated.

The vaccine is VSV-EBOV and was developed in Canada.
