Duck Dynasty patriarch, Phil Robertson, says he is against the Iran nuclear deal and stands firmly with Israel.

Robertson, who is known for his outspoken views, said he will be joining the rally “Stop the Iran Deal” being held outside the US Capitol on Wednesday.

Robertson said the Iranian government is hostile and therefore the worst kind of people to possess nuclear weapons.

Robertson affirmed that he stands with Israel, stating, “Israel, the most faithful ally that we have. You know why I love Israel? They wrote the Bible. That's why I love them.”

Robertson continued with his reasons for supporting Israel.

"When God chose to become flesh 2,015 years ago—your calendar dates that event, God becoming flesh—you know what kind of flesh he became? Jewish flesh," he said. "Theirs are the patriarchs—Abraham, Isaac, Jacob. They wrote the Bible, for crying out loud. Therefore, you never, ever want to put them in unnecessary danger, which this deal will do."

Robertson is no stranger to freely expressing what he thinks and to holding to what he believes to be true. His comments on homosexuality even got him briefly suspended from the family’s reality TV show.
