Russell Wilson Spends Day Off Visiting Sick Children

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson recently chose to spend his day off visiting sick children at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Wilson, who is an outspoken Christian, posted pictures to his Instagram account of his time spent with a number of children who are in the hospital as patients due to cancer, heart transplants, and various illnesses.
RelevantMagazine.com notes that Wilson and his singer wife Ciara are frequent visitors to the hospital. Wilson has even invited his celebrity friends to visit the children with him.
Actor Chris Pratt, who is also a Christian, visited the hospital with Wilson last December. Pratt has called Wilson one of his role models.
At the time of his visit Pratt asked his followers on social media to pray for the children and cited Psalm 37:3-4 which says, “Trust in the LORD, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. Also delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
Wilson and wife Ciara also recently announced that they are pregnant with their first child.
“The Greatest Blessing of All. Forever Grateful. #BabyWilsonOnTheWay,” Russell tweeted at the time.
