Popular singer and U2 frontman Bono has teamed up with the translator of The Message Bible, Eugene Peterson, to make a film about the Psalms.

Relevantmagazine.com shared a promotional video about the project which shows Bono walking up to Peterson’s lake house and greeting Peterson and his wife. The video says the film, called simply The Psalms, will be released April 26, 2016.

Bono, whose songs with the band U2 often have Christian undertones, identifies as a Christian and is heavily invested in humanitarian work.

Peterson, who lives with his wife in Montana, is the author of over thirty books and is especially known for his work on The Message Bible, a translation which seeks to present the Bible in contemporary language.
