Two of the Duggar sisters will be featured in new TLC programs after the Duggar family’s reality TV show 19 Kids and Counting was canceled two months ago.

The Duggar’s popular reality show was canceled after public outcry called for the network to discontinue it in the wake of Josh Duggar’s child molestation scandal.

Now TLC is bringing two of the Duggars back. Duggar sisters, Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald will be starring in new TLC specials based on their faith-central lifestyles, according to the Christian Post.

The new specials will cover Jill and her husband, Derrick’s journey through Central America and Jessa’s new phase of life as a mother.

"What we will be following in these specials is Jessa preparing for her first child," TLC Executive Vice President and General Manager Nancy Daniels stated. "[A]nd we'll be watching Jill preparing to make a major move to Central America with her family, which we know is something our audience will be interested in."

Daniels said that both young women are going through big changes in their lives and the audience will want to follow their journeys as they transition into adulthood.

When the Josh Duggar child molestation scandal was revealed, both Jill and Jessa came forward to testify as victims, but said they forgave their brother after much prayer.

Josh Duggar was also recently involved in the Ashley Madison adultery scandal which greatly affected the family.

However, the Duggars and TLC are moving forward.

Daniels commented on Jill and Jessa’s efforts to combat child abuse: "They thought it was an important issue, and they showed an incredible amount of courage in sharing their story," Daniels said. "We were struck by that courage, and by how they are moving forward. Our audience continues to be engaged with what's going on in their lives."
