The Church of England  has launched a new Easter-inspired Twitter campaign that has gone viral. #EasterMeans is the prompting Christians all over the world to express what the season means for them reports Christianity Today..

Thousands of people have taken to Twitter with thoughts, stories, quotes, and photos.

Catherine Ogle, Dean of Birmingham said, “I’m very positive about the #EasterMeans campaign because Twitter is all about relationships and interaction, it invites response and enables Christians to talk in public and one to one about what really matters to them.”

Right Reverend John Pritchard, the Bishop of Oxford shared his thoughts on Easter via the social media outlet. “Nothing is impossible. You can’t keep a good God down,” he tweeted.

Church officials are hoping that the social media movement will spark both personal contemplation and conversations amongst Christians.

During the remainder of Holy Week, Archbishop of York Dr. John Sentamu invites Christians to “place our trust in the God and Father of Jesus Christ and let the Holy Spirit change us from glory to glory.”
