A controversial video promoting same-sex marriage has angered parents with students attending a Wisconsin high school. Craig High School's Gay-Straight Alliance showed "Kids React to Gay Marriage" April 11, a short video that also condemns those who support gay-marriage bans.

Responding to incensed parents and later reviewing the video, the Janesville School District superintendent issued a public apology.

Superintendent Karen Schulte explained that the schools principal and advisors to the Gay-Straight Alliance approved the video.

According to the Wisconsin State Journal Schulte said, “The appropriate thing would be to present both sides of an issue or all sides of an issue, so that’s why I sent the apology, because I felt we did not follow board policy.”

The video was shown in coordination with the “National Day of Silence.” Under the guise of “anti-bullying,” the LGBT sponsored event promotes the gay agenda and distributes propaganda about the homosexual lifestyle.

The Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) applauded the apology in a letter to the school district.

“Schools are wise to take an unbiased and objective approach when teaching about controversial social issues,” said ADF Litigation Counsel Jonathan Scruggs. “We commend the district for recognizing that the one-sided, anti-religious same-sex marriage video shown in class violated its policies and undermined parental authority. We hope more school districts follow their lead.”
