Upstairs on the Jumbo
by Berni Dymet

Luke 13:16,17 "And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen long years, be set free from this bondage on the Sabbath day?" When he said this, all his opponents were put to shame; and the entire crowd was rejoicing at all the wonderful things that he was doing.

Now - this is episode number seven hundred and forty seven - 747 - of these short spots called "Just a Minute" - so I can't help myself, I have to tell you a 747 Jumbo Jet story. Is that OK? Humor me!

I remember years ago the first time I ever travelled business class upstairs on a jumbo jet. I'd only ever flown economy - crunched up for hours on a long flight. Back then, there were only 16 seats upstairs in business and the service and the comfort were fantastic.

Better than I'd ever imagined.

Funny - you have to experience something to really understand how good it can be.

These days, I'm in full time ministry. I get to fly economy again. But I carry something with me that is so much better than I ever imagined.

Jesus. Sounds weird. But Jesus is someone you can't imagine. You have to experience Him to know how fantastic He is, even when you're crunched up in the back of the plane.
