Feelings Of Inferiority

August 22, 2013

“For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” - 1 Samuel 16:7

Many people experience feelings of inferiority. They see themselves as less than other people, or they see themselves as a failure. These are wrong feelings and they come from accepting the wrong values of this world system. The Bible tells us that Satan is the ruler of this present age (John 12:31).  Because of this, the world thinks the way Satan thinks and puts its highest value on three things: physical attractiveness, intelligence, and money. God’s love is nothing like this worlds system. God’s love does not depend on how we look or what we have. God love is perfect and unconditional. This is not based on anything you have done; it is because of what Jesus has done for you, and with you on the cross. My friend, you will be able to overcome these feelings of inferiority if you understand that accepting the values of the world leads to those feelings, but accepting God’s values, learned in His Holy Word, takes away the feelings of inferiority.
