Losing What You Have Always Enjoyed

February 14, 2014

In the days in which we are presently living, do you find yourself longing for the good ole days? As you look about you, does it seem that we as a nation have lost our way? Do you find that your local church has adopted the ways of the world and it is obvious to you, they truly cannot see themselves as they really are, which you have been raised to know is, ungodly.

When you look into the faces of your children and grandchildren does their countenance look hard and lonely? When you look at the styles and fashions of this present age are you bewildered at why someone would want to wear their pants down to their knees and pierce and tattoo their bodies? More and more do you feel like an alien in the America that you love? Do you sometimes feel angry about what has happened to us as a people and as a nation but then you feel guilty about being angry.

I know how you feel my friend, and I want you to know that you are not alone in these concerns. There are many people today that are experiencing these exact same things as you are. The question is, “How are we to respond?” Do we publicly fight it and speak out against it or just remain silent.

The wise thing to do in these days, my friend, is to walk in the Spirit on the narrow road and influence this generation that is walking on a wide road that leads to destruction. Allow God to use you in your sphere of influence to point people to Jesus and away from destruction.

If only the sleeping Christian army, world-wide, would awake out of their slumber, and individually begin to listen to the still small voice of God and immediately obey His promptings we could see our nation and this world turn back to the Jehovah God of the Bible.
