Freedom From Fear

October 16, 2013

When you became a child of God, He set you free from the fear of what others may do to you. Your life is under God’s care, “hid away with Christ in God.” You may have to suffer for Christ’s sake, or even die; but He will be with you every moment. Nothing can happen to you except what He permits.

Romans 8:31– “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

My friend, you are free from the fear of evil spirits and the fear of bad luck. With Christ living inside of you in the presence of the Holy Spirit to protect you, there is no need for good luck charms, a picture of some guardian angel, or anything else that might draw you away from knowing that you are protected by Jehovah God. It grieves the heart of God to see you rely on something other than Him as though He would not keep His promise to protect you. Remember what God has said in Hebrews 13:5-6 – “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

So, we may boldly say:

“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?”

And again the Bible says in:

1 John 4:4   - “…He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”
