Merry Christmas - Wednesday, December 25th 2013

Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

To my extended family, I wish you all the joy that Jesus brings with the deep meaning of the season. In the middle of this busy holiday season, it is important for us to remember that Jesus is not only the reason for this season but He is the reason for all seasons. This Christmas, as you gather gifts for family and friends, may you remember the One whose grace-gift is greater, Jesus. May we cross the bridge to a deeper and more meaningful life as together, we change the world. Let your light shine. I wish you a very Merry Christmas.

Luke 2:13-14 "And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!" NKJV

Life Lesson: Keep the focus on Jesus.

Dear Father,
Thank You for the opportunity Christmas brings to worship You through selfless acts of love and giving. I want to keep Jesus the focus and bear light that others might see the way to the Prince of Peace. Please give me opportunity to be that light of love in the lives of many. I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Living to tell what He died to say,
Pastor David McGee
