Cycle of Success

“Therefore, ‘Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.’”   2 Corinthians 6:17

THINK
One of the hardest things to do is to let go of something we’ve grown comfortable with. It’s true with a good pair of worn out shoes, and it can be true with a relationship that isn’t healthy. Too often, we hold on to unhealthy relationships simply because they’ve been around for a long time. Maybe we feel guilty for cutting the person from our lives, or we just think it will be easier to deal with them that it would be the repercussions of ending the relationship.

The truth is that change is rarely easy. This is especially true when it comes to relationships. But as Pastor Ed has taught, there’s a cycle of success we need to get in on. It’s CHANGE – CONFLICT – GROWTH.

As you make the change away from those relationships God wants you to avoid, there will be some tension, some conflict. But as you continue to follow God’s plan for those relationships, you’ll discover some amazing growth on the other side!

PRAY
Thank God for His clear direction for your relationships. As you consider those relationships you need to transition out of, pray for the strength to make the hard calls.

ACT
Make a list of the relationships in your life that you know involve the wrong THEY. Begin to think about what it will take to move away from them and toward the right THEY.
