God’s Power Is Purposeful

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” >Romans 8:28

God is all-powerful. He has the ability to do anything He wants. That’s a character of God that we cannot fully identify with, because our power is limited. However, that doesn’t mean His power is not available in our lives. In fact, just the opposite is true. God’s power is always on tap for us. And everything He does in and through us has a powerful purpose.

When you have a relationship with God, His power is not only available and transformational (as we’ve seen this week), it is also purposeful. The purpose of God’s power is to give us the octane to help spread His message to those in our lives. So no matter what you are going through – good or bad – you can tap into God’s power to find a way through. And you can trust that His power has a purpose for your life today!

Open today by asking God to help you trust His power in your life. In whatever circumstance you are in, ask for the discernment to see from God’s perspective.

Some of the most difficult times to understand God’s power are those times in which we are suffering. If you are struggling, write this line on a notecard to carry with you: God doesn’t provide an escape FROM suffering; God provides a way THROUGH suffering!
