Choosing Your Niche
My friend, Adam, recently contrasted his experience between two different cruises. His first cruise was a Disney Cruise with his entire family. The second cruise was a Carnival Cruise with other couples.
The Disney Cruise was expensive but had tremendous entertainment value. Carnival Cruise was very inexpensive with limited entertainment. Adam felt both served their purpose.
Carnival’s limited options met Adam’s needs because he wanted an inexpensive way to spend time with friends. Disney met his family’s needs.
In Romans 9:21, Paul wrote, “Does not the potter have a right over the clay, to make from the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for common use?”
In business, we must choose a niche we desire to serve. Any niche is fine, if you know who you’re serving.
