Since 1965 racial discrimination complaints have been the most prevalent form of grievances filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Council. In 2010 that changed.
Last year retaliation complaints surpassed race claims. More people believed they suffered discrimination due to their employer retaliating against them. Whistleblowers, and people who have filed discrimination claims against their employer, are at risk of their bosses lashing out at them for claims or actions they took against their company.
Romans 12:19 teaches, "Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord."
It's easy as an employer to be offended when an employee makes an accusation against you, but it's important to remember, God is the avenger, not us.
