Safe and Secure Risk Taking
Dave Mattson with Sandler Training wrote, “Working as a team allows team members to take more risks, as they have the support of the entire group to fall back on in case of failure.”
Teams provide collaboration and appropriate division of tasks based on skills. Teams also provide safe places to take risks.
1 Corinthians 1:10 says, “I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.”
Paul taught the Corinthian church leaders the importance of team unity. Unity was critical in the early church as they took many risks to proclaim the gospel.
