The Courage to Purge
by Rick Boxx
March 18, 2010

Pastor LeRoy Sullivan, an inner city pastor known nationally for his commitment to marriage, shared with me once about someone attending his church who was living with her boyfriend. God convicted her to either get married or get her boyfriend to leave, but the boyfriend wasn't interested in either option.

When the boyfriend came home that evening LeRoy was sitting in this boyfriend's chair. LeRoy asked, "Where's the remote? I need it because I'm watching TV here until your stuff's packed and you're gone." Hours later the problem was solved.

1 Corinthians 5:13 teaches, "God judges those outside. Purge the evil person from among you."

Sometimes we need the courage to purge evil from our midst, even in our workplaces.
