A Whistle-Blowing Hero

Corporate America needs to thank whistle-blowers, instead of firing them. Matthew Lee, formerly with Lehman Brothers, is a good example.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Mr. Lee raised concerns to senior management, and the board, about the firm's accounting controls and practices. Within a few weeks Mr. Lee was fired.
We now know Mr. Lee had valid concerns. After a 14 year career with this firm it must have been difficult for him not to just go along with the inappropriate practices.
Mr. Lee modeled Exodus 23:2, "You shall not fall in with the many to do evil, nor shall you bear witness in a lawsuit, siding with the many, so as to pervert justice."
Lehman Brothers should have thanked Mr. Lee rather than fire him.
