Market Basket Business Lessons-Part II
By: Rick Boxx

Many believe that customers, employees, and shareholders can’t all benefit at the same time. Market Basket, a Massachusetts grocery store chain, may have proved the flaw in this philosophy.

This organization pays its employees very well, have some of the cheapest customer prices in their industry, and still returned over $1 billion in dividends to their shareholders since 2000!

Their CEO, Arthur T, believes if you’re generous with your employees it will result in a more efficient company that can lower customer prices, while still having a healthy bottom line for the shareholders.

Colossians 4:1 teaches, “Masters, provide your slaves with what is right and fair, because you know that you also have a Master in heaven.”

Don’t limit the possibilities for your organization. God is a God of abundance, not scarcity.
