Slave Labor

Some people will go to incredible extremes to make money at others' expense, like a female owner of hair-braiding salons in New Jersey. According to the Kansas City Star, this business owner illegally imported 20 girls from Africa. She then forced these girls, ranging between 10 and 19 years old, to work for free. They were abused, beaten, and prevented from accessing their passports.

Jesus taught in Luke 17:1-2, "Things that cause people to sin are bound to come, but woe to that person through whom they come. It would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin."

God values each person, especially children. Pity those who place profits over people.
