“For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” (John 6:33)
Jesus had just fed a multitude of men, not counting the women and children, which could have easily been 15,000 people. Jesus took the lad’s two fish sticks and bread, blessed them, broke them, and fed the hungry multitude. The people then became curiosity seekers after the Lord who could perform miracles. Today people are continuously looking for a miracle. Like the sign-mongers then, we often determine our worship of God upon His performance of miracles. We are looking for a miracle, but unfortunately at the same time, we are missing every miracle that the Lord is performing.
In Living in the In-Between Times, Pastor Ralph Douglas West brings the story of the Old Testament prophet Samuel to life, showing you how God speaks in your “in betweens” and what it looks like to live faithfully in these seasons of waiting and wondering.
