. . . and spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading concerning the things of the kingdom of God. (Acts 19:8)
There is a common assumption that people know the message of the gospel. Yet, although they may know denominationalism and church polity, they don’t know the clear message of the gospel. You can stand on any inner-city, urban, or suburban church parking lot, throw a handful of pebbles in any direction and hit a neighboring house where someone hasn’t heard the gospel message yet. They don’t know, and we should cease from assuming that they do know. We have a responsibility to share the gospel with them in a bold and clear manner.
In Living in the In-Between Times, Pastor Ralph Douglas West brings the story of the Old Testament prophet Samuel to life, showing you how God speaks in your “in betweens” and what it looks like to live faithfully in these seasons of waiting and wondering.
