Pas the Day - April 25, 2020

  • 2020 Apr 25

“O Lord, forgive, I pray! Oh, that Jacob may stand, for he is small!” (Amos 7:2)

Amos is able to say what he says because he can see what others cannot see. Amos sees God as He really is when he says, “O Lord God.” Then he pleads with God on the behalf of his nation. When we intercede in prayer for others, we are dealing with the sovereign exalted Lord of all. At the same time, we come on the basis of our own personal relationship to God. When we pray, we hold in tension the lofty position of God and our own personal relationship with Him.

Pas the Day May 2020 offerThese are the “in-between” times of life – much like the season we’re experiencing now. And however long they last, they define life itself.

In Living in the In-Between Times, Pastor Ralph Douglas West brings the story of the Old Testament prophet Samuel to life, showing you how God speaks in your “in betweens” and what it looks like to live faithfully in these seasons of waiting and wondering.
