Pas the Day - June 23, 2020

Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man. (Romans 1:22-23)

Humanity is not disinterested in religion. In fact, all human beings at the core of their souls are homo-religioso. That is, every person is attempting to find something, someone, or some experience that transcends the temporal—besides what Pascal describes as “trying to fill that vacuumous space with the presence of an eternal God.” But when the church begins to look, act, and sound like every other place that people can go, no distinction can be identified between Christianity and the culture. Thus, people walk away.

Pas the Day May 2020 offerThese are the “in-between” times of life – much like the season we’re experiencing now. And however long they last, they define life itself.

In Living in the In-Between Times, Pastor Ralph Douglas West brings the story of the Old Testament prophet Samuel to life, showing you how God speaks in your “in betweens” and what it looks like to live faithfully in these seasons of waiting and wondering.
