Today's reading: Galatians 6:6-10
I decided to spend one more day on Galatians 6:6-10 because it contains one of my favorite commands--to "not grow weary of doing good" (vs. 9). One of my daily requests of God is to make me aware of someone (or multiple people) in need and show me how I can help them. Whenever I read Galatians 6:9-10, it brings a smile to my face and gives me an extra dose of enthusiasm to get out there and make a positive difference in someone's life this very day.
"So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith." (vs. 10)
What's one example of you "doing good" for someone in the past week? Will you join with me in asking God daily to make us aware of "doing good" opportunities? As you go about your day/week, take note of who is in need in your church, neighborhood, family, school, work environment and/or community, and then take action. Let's do good for others this week!
