Today's reading: Psalm 8:1-9
Psalm 8 is a wonderful declaration of the magnificence, power and glory of God paired with a description of how God loves us so greatly (created us with glory and honor and gave us dominion over things on earth). One thing that came across clearly to me through this psalm is how this mighty God is also personal. "O LORD, our Lord. . ." (vs. 1 and 9, emphasis mine).
What does it mean to you that the God who set the moon and stars in place is "your" God? How would you explain God being a "personal" God to someone who doesn't yet know Christ? Tami
